2023-24: Earned three individual win with four second place and three third place finishes… Was part of the relay team that broke the school record and in the 200 medley relay (1:47.81)… Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…

2022-23: Recorded a top-10 finish in the 200-yard backstroke at the NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships with a sixth place finish and time of 2:06.43… Was a part of three top-10 relay teams at the NSIC Championships, contributing to the sixth place 200-yard medley relay which tied the school record time (1:47.96), the ninth place 400-yard medley relay (3:57.25), and the ninth place 800-yard freestyle relay (7:56.17)… Earned five individual event wins with 13 top-3 individual finishes, and was also a part of five winning relay teams and a total of eight top-3 finishing relay teams throughout the season… Notched a personal-best time in the 400-yard IM (4:43.02)…Ranked sixth in the NSIC in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.47), 16^th in the 50-yard backstroke (27.41), 16^th in the 100-yard backstroke (58.58), 19^th in the 400-yard IM (4:43.02), and 23^rd in the 200-yard IM (2:12.56)… Was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…

2021-22: Swam to personal best times in the 50 yard freestyle (25.12), 200 yard freestyle (1:59.84), 50 yard backstroke (27.31), 100 yard backstroke (57.31), 200 yard backstroke (2:03.57), 100 yard IM (1:03.21), 200 yard IM (2:11.76), and the 400 yard IM (4:44.03)… Ranked third in the NSIC in the 200 yard backstroke, tenth in the in the 100 yard backstroke, 16^th in the in the 50 yard backstroke, 19^th in the 400 yard IM, and 24^th in the 200 yard IM… Recorded three event wins in the 200 yard backstroke, one win in the 100 yard backstroke, one win in the 50 yard backstroke, one win in the 100 yard IM, and totaled 19 top-3 finishes in the 50, 100, and 200 yard backstroke, and the 100 and 200 yard IM… Was the individual champion of the UMary Pentathlon with a total time of 3:02.70… Earned all-conference honors in the 200 yard backstroke with a second place finish at the NSIC Championships in a time of 2:03.57…

2021: Took seventh in the 200 back at the NSIC Championships… Ranked 36^th in the NSIC and first on the team… Recorded personal bests of 2:06.04 in the 200 back, 34.69 in the 50 breast, 27.78 in the 50 fly, 1:03.48 in the 100 IM, and 2:13.27 in the 200 IM…

Prep: Maddie Gonzales is a backstroke swimmer out of Mountain Range High School. She is a 4-year letter winner and team captain for the Mustangs under the direction of head coach Jeff Johnson. Gonzales tallied a time of 57.50 in the 100 backstroke at the Colorado State Championships a season ago, finishing in the top-15 in the race. She is a 4-year state qualifier in the 100 back and 3-year qualifier in the 100 free, 100 fly, 50 free, 200 free, and 200 individual medley. In addition, Gonzales is a 4-time Speedo Sectionals qualifier in the 100 back, 200 back, and 100 fly. She is the daughter of Lisa and Joe Gonzales.
