Fargo, N.D. – The Northern State University track and field team competed from the Minnesota State NSIC Indoor Challenge on Saturday in preparation for the upcoming conference meet. The Wolves faced off against Minnesota State, UMary, Augustana, Winona State, Minnesota Duluth, Augustana, Bemidji State, Concordia-St. Paul, Sioux Falls, and St. Cloud State. In addition, the Wolves pole vaulters competed from SDSU Indoor Classic notching two top-10 finishes.

MEN
HIGHLIGHTS
- Jorge Garcia tallied a 12th place finish in the mile run with a time of 4:30.20
- Isaiha Fletcher and Tafara Hondonga ran to second and sixth place finishes in the 400m dash with times of 49.38 and 50.77 respectively
- Devin Sheridan and Kelson Brewer placed second and third in the 600m run, crossing the finish line in 1:22.46 and 1:24.07
- Ronald Stephenson added a tenth place finish in the 200m dash, recording a time of 22.98
- Riccardo Done tallied the first race victory, winning the 3000m run with a time of 8:46.32
- Jackson Harrison followed with a time of 8:53.21 in third place
- The 4x400m relay team of Sheridan, Brewer, Hondonga, and Fletcher won the event, crossing the finish line in 3:21.30
- Austin Eppard took fifth in the weight throw with a personal record toss of 16.53m
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS
- Shanice Burrell advanced to finals in the 60m hurdles, taking fifth overall with a time of 9.03
- Madison Barnes and Isabel Kinzer took third and fifth in the 400m dash, notching times of 58.37 and 59.01 respectively
- Megan Mooberry and Madison Leapaldt led the team in the 3000m run, notching times of 10:49.02 and 11:05.11 in fourth and sixth place
- The 4x400m relay team of Kinzer, Burrell, Destiny Wenger, and Barnes took fifth in the event with a time of 4:07.51
- Sonia Alaman and Tava Berg tied for fifth in the high jump, clearing 1.57m
- Jordan Menken took third in the shot put, notching a 13.65m throw on her second attempt of the day
- Nicolette Kneeland broke into the top-10 of the weight throw, notching a mark of 15.83m
- Kealy Hill and Jordyn Huneke took third in the pole vault, clearing 3.60m
