Fargo, N.D. - Northern State track competed in the Dakota Classic host by North Dakota State University earlier this evening. Northern State men's track and field finished third notching 48 points, while women's track and field took fourth scoring 34 points.
Tanner Berg hit an NCAA Provisional mark and is sitting 4
th in the nation.
Bryce Malsam also hit a Provisional mark with his 2.04 HJ sitting 10
th in the nation.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Isaiha Fletcher took first place in the 200m with a time of 22.22 and also placed third in the 60m with a time of 7.11
- Tafara Hondonga tallied an eighth place finish in the 400m notching a time of 51.25
- Riccardo Done took third place in the 1 mile run crossing the finish line at 4:25.17
- Zachary Burns finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.50m
- Tanner Berg recorded a second place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 20.39m as the top Division II placer, and added tenth place finish in the shot put, throwing 14.73m
- Bryce Malsom finished fifth overall in the men's pentathlon with a score of 3,489, winning the high jump, clearing 2.04m

WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS
- Isabel Kinzer took fifth in the 60m hurdles and the 200m with a time of 9.39 and 27.05
- Grace Elvert finished ninth in the 200m with a time of 27.54
- Madison Barnes placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 59.22
- Tava Berg took sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.63m,while Sonia Alaman placed eighth with a mark of 1.58m
- Alaman added a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a 10.30m mark
- Kealy Hill rounded out the top-5 in the pole vault with a mark of 3.55m
- Jordan Menken placed seventh in the women's shot put with a throw of 13.99m
- Nicolette Kneeland finished tenth in the weight throw with a toss of 14.44m
- Dakota Hutzler placed fourth overall in the women's pentathlon with a score of 3,229
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Jordan Menken hit a Provisional mark in the shot with her 13.99 throw sitting 8th in the nation.
