Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University swimming team host University of Sioux Falls for senior night Friday from the Aberdeen YMCA. First event will start at 5:30 p.m. against the Cougars. The senior class consists of eight swimmers;

Camille Kawasaki,
Cassandra Maillet,
Sierra Ohm,
Maida Walters, and
Makyl Ziegler.
The last time the Wolves competed was on December 3rd from the Rochester meet, where NSU finished in eighth place as a team with 121 season best times, 26 personal times, two school records and four NCAA "B" cut.
Kastigar picked up race wins in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and the 200 butterfly preliminaries. She also placed second place and broke the school record twice in the same day in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:17.26.
Emma Murdock placed 12th in the 100 backstroke with a time 59.62, she also tallied a ninth place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.80.
Shayna Asuncion tallied a 12th place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.40. Asuncion also recorded a 13th place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:29.69. The team of Murdock,

About Sioux Falls:
USF opened up their 2018-19 season by dominating U-Mary, 164-112 in Sioux Falls. USF then traveled to the NSIC preseason favorite Minnesota State and fell, 161-136, but won the swimming portion of the meet. USF defeated MSU Moorhead, 179-111, and traveled to rival Augustana and came out victorious with a, 163-98 dominating performance. USF also swam to an impressive third-place finish at Rochester Invite and dropped a home dual to NCAA DI Nebraska Omaha, 169.5-124.5, on Dec. 18.
