2018-19: Maida swam her best times in the 50 free, 100 free, 50 back, and 50 fly… At the conference meet, finished in 17th place in the 1650 free with a time of 19.16.86, she also had a personal best in the 50 free and the 100 free…
2017-18: Recorded season best times of 26.17, 56.11, 2:00.87, 5:26.47, 11:14.29, and 19:02.90 in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free, respectively...
Prep: Walters has recorded numerous state titles with first place finishes in the 400 freestyle (2011-14), 100 freestyle (2012-14), and 200 individual medley (2014). In 2014 she recorded the state freestyle record in the 400 freestyle, with a time of 4:35.42. She is also a state participant in cross country and track for the Fergus High School Eagles. Academically she was awarded the Kiwanis Academic Award (2012-13) and the X-Country Golden Shoe Academic Award (2011, 12, 14). Maida is an FCCLA Club Officer, Spanish Club President, Book Club President, and a foreign exchange student in Argentina. She is the daughter of Ron Walters and Laura Bennett, and the youngest of three children.
