Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team will play Northwest Missouri State in a non-conference double header Thursday and Friday afternoon. Due to poor weather conditions on Saturday, that game is moved to Thursday. First pitch is schedule for 3 p.m. on Thursday and a double-header on Friday starting at 12 p.m. against the Bearcats.
The Wolves enter the weekend with a 7-10 overall and a 2-6 NSIC record. Stats before St. Cloud double-header, NSU is hitting .255 with 10 home runs, five triples, and 28 doubles on 111 hits. NSU as a pitching staff has a 5.60 earned run average, giving up 132 hits, 68 earned runs, striking out 92 hitters, while walking 49, and giving up a .295 batting average.
Jack Schmidt leads the team with .396 batting average, second on the team is
Dakota Stilson with a .364, and
Kolin Kubitz has a .308 average on the season. Schmidt also leads the Wolves with 21 hits, second is
Dakota Stilson with 16, and Kubitz has 12 hits on the season. Kubitz and
