Prep: Zach Hartford is 6-foot-3, 185-pound left handed pitcher out of Chaska High School. He is a starter and senior team captain for the Hawks under head coach Craig Baumann. Lanier went 5-4 in 2016, throwing 58 total innings. He tallied a 2.05 ERA with 51 strikeouts and just nine walks. Lanier was named to the Metro West All-Conference team and the 2AAAA All-Section team. He is a member of the Chaska High School dean’s list and the FCA. He is the son of Chris and Nicky Hartford.
