ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University women's volleyball team lost their fourth consecutive home match Saturday at the hands of Minnesota State University by a score of 3-1. Set scores for the match were 26-24, 22-25, 20-25, and 12-25.
The Wolves are now 9-6 on the year, and 1-5 in the NSIC. They have now lost five straight-matches, and the last four, by a score of 3-1.
The Wolves offense was led by Caitlin Oelke and Kayla Ysteboe who tallied 11 kills apiece, with Ysteboe adding 12 digs, and Oelke adding five. Sophomore Megan Gilbraith ran the offense with 31 assists, and also added 14 digs on the defensive end. Jill Rasmussen had nine kills and also chipped in five blocks (1 solo, 4 assisted) and 12 digs. Stephanie Nygaard led the defensive effort with 23 digs and also added one service ace and two assists.
