Biography

2008: Played in all 30 matches of the season... Took on increased hitting role after senior Kelsey Aden went down with a knee injury... Led the team with 280 kills and was fourth on the team in digs with 237... Only player on the team to finish the year with more than 250 kills and 225 digs... Also recorded 27 service aces, second on the squad, and 46 total blocks, fourth on the team... Was also second on the team with a .956 serve reception percentage... Recorded a career-high 18 kills in a 3-set win over Bemidji State on Oct. 17... Also had six service aces in an earlier meeting with the Beavers on Sept. 23... Matched her career-best mark with 20 digs against Southwest Minnesota State on Sept. 27... Had five double-double efforts on the season.

2007: Ysteboe started out the season as a rightside hitter but moved over to the leftside about halfway through the year ... played in 64 of NSU’s 104 games on the season ... was forced to miss six matches due to gall bladder surgery ... marked 108 kills and 16 blocks on the year ... set a career high mark of 13 kills against Concordia-St. Paul on September 29 ... had a career high 20 digs against MSU Moorhead on September 28.    

2006: NSU Redshirt

High School: A 2006 graduate from Red River High School in Grand Forks, N.D., Ysteboe was named to the All-State and All-Tournament team her senior season ... was also named to the Eastern Dakota All-Conference Team ... was her team’s most valuable player, and also participated in track and basketball at Red River ... ranks first in her class academically and plans to major in chemistry at NSU.
