LEAF BRINGS VOLLEYBALL SIGNING CLASS TO SEVEN

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University head volleyball coach Brent Aldridge announced the addition of Isabella Leaf (Ramsey, Minn.) to the Wolves volleyball roster. She will join the 2026 class of Avery Douglas (Swanville, Minn.), Misia Grudzien (Warsaw, Poland), Avery Maasdorf (Boulder, Colo.), Lydia Nelson (Madison, S.D.), Maggie Smith (St. Louis, Mo.), and Sidonia Wattier (Norfolk, Neb.).
 
"Ella will come in and provide depth and competition in the middle position," explained Aldridge. "During the recruiting process I saw a very determined and competitive athlete that is also very good in the classroom. These qualities are a part of the core values that we embody with Wolves volleyball."
 
Leaf_NSDIsabella Leaf – M/RS, 5-10, Ramsey, Minn. / Anoka HS
Isabella Leaf is a 5-foot-10, middle hitter and right side out of Anoka High School. She was a 2-year starter for the Tornadoes under the direction of head coach Christopher Fenwick. Leaf tallied 112 kills, 71 digs, and 52 blocks. She was a 2025 academic all-state honoree. Anoka High School made back-to-back state tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024, finishing third in the fall of 2023. In addition, Leaf is a member of the Crossfire Volleyball club led by Pilar Onstad. She is the daughter of Kyle and Jamie Leaf.
