AUSTIN, Texas – College Sports Communicators released the 2025 Academic All-America® women's volleyball teams today with Northern State University senior
Abby Schauer honored. This is the second straight CSC Academic All-American® award for the libero, earning second team honors this season.
Schauer led the Northern State defense with 568 digs, averaging 5.62 per set this season. She tallied a .947 serve receive percentage and added 18 aces and 50 assists through sets 101 played. The senior tallied a single match high of 37 digs against Southwest Minnesota State and recorded 16 matches with over 20 digs in 2025. She is a 3-time NSIC All-Conference performer, 3-time CSC Academic All-District® honoree, a 2024 AVCA All-American, and 2-time CSC Academic All-American® for the Wolves. Schauer holds a 4.0 GPA, majoring in nursing at Northern State.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
