2008: Played in all 30 matches and all but two of the team's 113 sets on the season... Notched 226 kills, 68 blocks, 44 assists and 26 service aces as one of the team's top all-around players... Finished third on the team in kills, third in blocks, second in assists and third in service aces... Recorded eight double-double efforts throughout the season, including a string of three straight from Sept. 20-26... Had season highs of 16 kills (Sept. 20), 19 digs (Sept. 26) and eight blocks (Aug. 30).

2007: Perez moved to the outside hitter position in 2007 after playing the libero position in 2006 ... in the first two weekends of competition she averaged 2.77 kills per game ... a serious ankle injury about half way through the season took Perez out of the outside hitter position ... she was forced to finish the season playing only in the back row ... Perez was second-best on the team in digs, finishing with 399 and averaging 4.20 digs per game ... had a season-high 38 digs against Wayne State on September 15th.            

2006: Transferred into the NSU program in 2006 and was one of the team’s most valuable assets ... played in every match of the season and led the team on the defensive front ... finished the season ranked 16th in the nation for digs per game with a mark of 5.97, having tallied 687 digs overall ... this mark put her on top of the list for NSIC individual digs per game ... finished all but one match with double figures in digs, surpassing the 20+ mark 20 times ... had 30+ digs on six occasions ... dug a career high 44 balls against Wayne State College on October 6, 2006, just two digs shy of NSU’s single match dig record ... was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week four times and was named All-NSIC Honorable Mention.

Previous Experience: Played one season of volleyball at Western Nebraska Community College ... the Cougars went 53-3 in 2005, becoming the NJCAA Regional IX Champions and finished fourth in the National Tournament.

High School: Graduated from La Merced High School in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
