2019-20: Recorded indoor personal bests in the pentathlon (3,489), 55m (6.72), 55m hurdles (7.78), 60m hurdles (8.27), and heptathlon (5,295)… Tallied 13 top-10 finishes, including three events wins in the indoor season… Earned NSIC All-Conference accolades in the heptathlon and 60m hurdles, taking second and third… Qualified for the NCAA National Indoor Championships in the heptathlon…
2018-19: Recorded eight top-10 finishes during the indoor season… Notched a personal best of 8.41 in the 60m hurdles… Added seven top-10 finishes during the outdoor season… Took fourth from the NSIC Multi Events with a personal best 6,530 points in the decathlon… Recorded a national provisional mark in the decathlon…
2017-18: Competed in the multi events and relays for the Wolves… Recorded season bests of 7.50 in the 60m, 8.45 in the 60H, 11.38w in the 100m, 15.10 in the 110H, 57.73 in the 400H, 1.87m in the high jump, 4.55m in the pole vault, 6.47mw in the long jump, 40.74m in the javelin, 4845 points in the heptathlon, and 6194 points in the decathlon… Tallied 22 top ten finishes on the season… Won the 110H at the NSU Twilight…
2016-17: Recorded personal bests in the indoor heptathlon (4,416) and outdoor decathlon (5,814)… Added personal best marks in the 60m (7.30), 100m (11.72), 400m (55.15), 1000m (3:10.99), 1500m (5:20.57), 60m hurdles (8.66), 110m hurdles (15.68m), 400m hurdles (1:00.33), high jump (1.91m), pole vault (4.20m), long jump (6.29m), shot put (11.17m), discus (26.99m), and javelin (39.85m)… Finished eighth in the decathlon at the NSIC Outdoor Championships…
Season and Career Bests
Prep: Bryce is a hurdler and jumper for Edmunds Central HS, where he's been a three year team captain for the Raiders. Malsam earned athlete of the week and MVP the past two seasons for Edmunds Central. He is the 2013 State 110m hurdle Champion and 2014 State double hurdle Champion. Bryce has recorded personal best in the 110m hurdles (14.66), 300m hurdles (40.39), high jump (6'4"), and long jump (20'5"). Malsam is also the school record holder for most yards rushing in a single season as a member of the Raiders football team. He also participates in basketball at Edmunds Central.
