2021-22: Ran to seven top-10 finishes between the indoor and outdoor seasons…

2021: Recorded outdoor personal bests of 49.19 in the 400m and 22.63 in the 200m… Earned all-conference accolades in the indoor 400m, indoor 4x400m relay, and outdoor 4x400m… Tallied 26 top-10 finishes on the year…

2019-20: Recorded indoor personal bests in the 200m (23.29), 300m (36.06), 400m (50.77), and 600m (1:22.36)… Tallied 13 top-10 finishes, including two race wins in the indoor season… Was a member of the NSIC runner-up 4x400m squad earning all-conference honors…

Prep: Tafara Hondonga is a 5-foot-7 sprinter out of Gweru, Zimbabwe and Gokomere High School. He holds personal bests of 22.80 in the 200m and 47.80 in the 400m.Hondonga earned the 2017 Masvingo Provincial award for being one of the best male athletes of the year. He is the son of Jerald Hondonga.
