2007-08: Competed in eight of the nine meets…best events are 50 and 100 freestyle…recorded best times of 30.53 in the 50-yard free and 1:08.89 in the 100-yard free…set the school record in the 100-meter free,

High School: Is a 2005 graduate of Central High School in Aberdeen, S.D. … a three-year letterwinner in swimming … swam for NSU coach Elyce Kastigar … also played recreation softball and was a member of various music groups.

Personal: Born on October 16, 1986 to parents Judy and Wayne Koester … younger sister, Casey, is also a member of the NSU swim team.
