2007-08: Strongest events is in the 100 and 200 breaststroke…her top times on the season were 1:20.87 in the 100-yard and 2:53.57 in the 200-yard…currently holds five school records…holds records in yard categories for the 1650 free, 100 and 200 breast…holds the records in meters for the 100 back and breast.
High School: Graduated from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, S.D. in 2007 … swam with the Sioux Falls Seals … was named Most Dedicated Swimmer, Most Improved, and Comeback Swimmer by her team … made the State meet in the 200-breast … lettered in academics.
Personal: Born on October 22, 1988 to parents Cheryl and Norman Bouwens of Sioux Falls, S.D. … is the youngest of four children.
