Aberdeen, S.D. – Wolves baseball took to the diamond to face the Mavericks of Mankato. After a scoreless first inning for both teams, MSU ran away with the game, scoring in the five innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves got their first two outs of the game on a 163 double play; a following ground out got Lance Behrens and Northern's defense off the field in the first
- A walk, no hits, and no runs came out of the first for NSU
- Mankato put up seven runs in the second inning, nine in the third, two in the fourth, three in the fifth, and four in the sixth to balloon their lead to 25-0
- Dayne McNaughton took to the mound in the top of the sixth to get the final out of the inning; he carried the Wolves through the seventh inning with another strike out, no hits, and no runs
