Aberdeen, S.D. – The Wolves wrapped up their series against Augustana with a one-game Sunday. After two close games yesterday, the Vikings completed the series sweep with a blowout today.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Vikings came out swinging, hitting a home run on the third pitch of the game; they put eight runs on the board in the first, making it through their full lineup
- The Wolves went three-up-three-down in the first inning
- Seven more AU runs came home in the second, all were scored with two outs
- Northern got their first run of the game as Colling Lott homered to right center
- Two more runs in the third extended Augie's lead to 17-1
- With bases loaded in the third, Lott was hit by a pitch, bringing Kyle Konechne home
- Jordan Hull brought Easton Rerick and Konechne in to make the score 17-4 Vikings
- Carter Sommer retired three straight batters in the top of the sixth to get Northern's offense back out
- Augustana scored two more runs to wrap up the game in seven
