Auburndale, Flo. – Wolves baseball was in action for the second straight day at the RussMatt Invitational as they faced Wayne State (Mich.). The bats were cold and it was hard getting off the field for Northern.

- Wayne State had it rolling from the first pitch, scoring the first 16 runs of the game
- NSU got on the board in the bottom of the fifth as Ben Althoff came home on an Austin Reiter single
- The Warriors put five more up in the top of the sixth to bring their lead to 21-1 WSU
- Rounding out the scoring was Danny Sanchez with a two-out homer to right field
