Pre-NSU: Gehrig Larrigan is a 6-foot, 190-pound catcher out of Yuba City High School and Yuba College. As a prep, Larrigan was a starter hitting .211 in 2020-21. In the 2024 season at YC, he hit .333 with 29 RBI, 31 runs scored, and five stolen bases. Larrigan was named to the Bay Valley All-Conference team. He is the son of Patrick Larrigan and Mary Lynne Engelken.
