College Sports Communicators announced the 2023-24 Track and Field Academic All-District® teams today, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. Northern State landed three honorees including Sam Tremelling, Megan Pickering, and Renea Taylor.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track and field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Tremelling will advance to the national ballot for the Wolves. First-, second- and third-team Men's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. (Women's Track and Field/Cross Country honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 9).
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
