Wolves Set New School Record in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay

Des Moines, Iowa – Northern State University track and field teams competed on the final day of Drake Relays. The Wolves defeated one school record and had multiple top ten finishes.

BEYOND THE RESULTS
  • Sheldon, Klein, Cumbow, and Taylor are the first athletes to hold the school record in the shuttle hurdle relay
  • The men's 4x200m relay also broke their own school record that they set when competing at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational at the beginning of the outdoor track season
  • The men's 4x400m relay time is the second fastest in school history and just missed the school record by .10 seconds. It also marked the first time the Wolves made a Drake Relays final.
 
 
UP NEXT
The Northern State University track and field teams will compete at the NDSU Tune-Up this coming Friday on May 3rd. The meet will begin at 10:00 a.m. with field events and running events will start at 3:00 p.m.
