Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University student-athletes tallied a fall semester 2023 and cumulative team grade point averages above a 3.0 for the 31
st straight semester. Wolves student-athletes notched a semester mark of 3.2 and cumulative team mark of 3.3. Additionally, six programs recorded term marks above a 3.5 led by women's cross country and track and field with a 3.7.
"The academic foundations within the Athletics department are strong as we continue to have high achieving student-athletes in the classroom and in competition. We recently eclipsed the 30-semester milestone in the spring of 2023 and the streak continued through the fall semester," noted Director of Athletics Nate Davis. "Academic success is a proud tradition at Northern State University as our student-athletes mark yet another semester above a 3.0."
