Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Collin Lott (baseball) and Tevan Bryant (softball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
Lott hit .400 for the Wolves against Minnesota Crookston. He tallied four hits, including a pair of doubles. The freshman added one walk. The Michigan native recorded 14 putouts and two assists on defense without giving up an error.
Bryant finished the weekend with a .333 batting average at the plate through 12 at-bats, collecting four hits, three RBIs and two walks. The senior notched three hits in NSU's extra-innings loss to St. Cloud State, recording two RBIs and a .750 average in the matchup. Two of Bryant's three hits in the game were two-out RBI singles, with her hit in the sixth being to tie the game and to send it into extra innings.
