Burnsville, Minn. – Northern State University sophomore Madelyn Bragg earned NSIC Player of the Week honors today following a career weekend from Wachs Arena. Bragg was also joined by teammate Rianna Fillipi as a member of the NSIC Shining Five.
 
NSIC Player of the Week - #2 Madelyn Bragg (C/F, 6-3, So., Aberdeen, S.D. / Roncalli HS)
- Averaged 26.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in wins against CSP and UMD
- Notched a career-high of 35 points in an 81-70 overtime win against UMD
- Made 21-of-42 (50.0%) from the floor and shot a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul line
- In addition, she recorded eight assists and seven blocks on the weekend
- Led the NSIC last week in points and free throw percentage
- Scored eight of the 11 points in overtime win against UMD
