MOORE SELECTED FOR CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® AWARD

Northern State University senior Izzy Moore was honored by College Sports Communicators today, as a member of the Academic All-District® Team for women's basketball. The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Moore is one of the NCAA Division II Academic All-District® honorees considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in April.

The senior started all 29 games for the Wolves this season, leading the team averaging 19.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. In addition, she finished the year second on the team with 76 total assists and shot 48.3% from the floor and 41.4% from beyond the arc. The guard tallied 25 games in double figures, including a career high 41 points against Minnesota Duluth. The Sioux Falls native also tallied career highs in rebounds (12), assists (8), and steals (6) in 2025-26.

She closed out the season ranked top-5 in the Northern Sun in scoring and top-10 in rebounding, field goal percentage, and steals. The senior scored 571 points in 2025-26, which ranks fourth all-time in single season points at NSU and surpassed the 1000 career point milestone against MSU Moorhead in the NSIC Tournament opening round. Moore was a 4-time NSIC North Division Player of the Week this season, going on to earn WBCA/D2CIDA National Player of the Week honors. This is the first NSIC All-Conference award of her career.
