Wolves Prepped for Final South Road Trip at Winona State and Upper Iowa

Aberdeen, S.D. – Looking to carry the momentum from a historic weekend in Wachs Arena with them, the Northern State women's basketball team will travel south for the final weekend of NSIC cross-division play. The Wolves will travel to Winona State for a Friday night battle at McCown Gymnasium for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off with the Warriors. Northern is then set to face Upper Iowa in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off on Saturday afternoon.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State enters the weekend with a record of 12-8 (7-7 NSIC)
  • The Wolves are currently eighth place overall in the league standings and fifth in the north division
  • Last weekend Northern knocked off No. 12 Minnesota State (72-69) and defeated Concordia St. Paul (71-52) in Wachs Arena

  • Winona State enters the weekend with a record of 9-11 (3-11 NSIC)
