Game Specific Promotions

• Northern State welcomes Glacial Lakes Energy to the contest on Friday for their annual GLE Night at Wolves basketball
• Saturday is Youth Night in Wachs Arena. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite basketball jersey, with all youth admitted free to the contest with a jersey on
• Northern State also welcomes faculty and staff and Wolves Club members to Saturday's contest for a pair of appreciation nights

Entrances to the Facility & Gate Opening Times

Fans will be able to enter the Barnett Center through both the north and south doors. Access to the south entrance is available through both Dakota Bank Stadium entrances off South State Street and 15th Ave SE. Ticket gates will be located at both the north and south doors of the Barnett Center, and will open one hour prior to tip-off for all general admission and same day ticket sales. Gates will open one hour prior to tip-off each game day. 

Online Ticketing

Wolves Club season tickets and general admission passes can be purchased online at nsuwolves.universitytickets.com or at the gate on game day. The fully automated system allows fans to select their seat for game day with tickets sent directly to your email or mobile device. Pricing for season and single game tickets is available at nsuwolves.com/tickets. Senior and youth tickets are only available for purchase at the gate on game days. All game day ticket sales will be available at both the North and South entrances of the Barnett Center. The Northern State passbook will be located at the north doors of the Barnett Center, individuals must sign in via the far right line at the ticket gate. There is no re-entry into the facility.

Current Northern State University students will receive one free ticket to all home sporting events throughout the 2022-23 academic. Information on how to claim student tickets will be distributed via email. 

Parking

The first three rows of parking in the Barnett Center main lot will be reserved for Wolves Club members with an annual parking pass, with free parking for all fans available in the following rows to the North.

Concessions and Team Store

The Northern State concession stands are operated by Sodexo and offer a wide range of options for fans of all ages. Enjoy an ice-cold Coca-Cola product, bite into a soft pretzel with cheese, a world famous Wolf dog, or walking taco. Don’t forget to grab a freshly made popcorn or batch of Wisconsin cheese curds from one of the concession stands near you at all home Wolves athletic events. The NSU Nike Team Store will be open in its main Barnett Center location on game day, opening one hour prior to tip-off.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State enters this weekend with a record of 10-8 (5-7 NSIC)
• NSU is tied for eighth overall in the league standings and tied for fifth in the north division
• The Wolves split last weekend’s cross-division contests, falling at Sioux Falls (49-44) before picking up a victory at Southwest Minnesota State (82-62)
• The win over SMSU improved NSU’s record to 8-4 over south division opponents since the start of 2021-22
• Kailee Oliverson is averaging 12.4 points per game to lead a trio of Wolves scoring in double figures this season, while Laurie Rogers and Rianna Fillipi add 11.1 and 10.7 points per game respectively
• Rogers also leads NSU with 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, and Fillipi averages a team-best 3.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game
• Rogers leads the NSIC with 2.4 blocks per game in league contests; in NCAA Division II she is tied for sixth nationally with 41 total blocks and 11th with 2.28 blocks per game this season
• Northern State continues to lead NCAA Division II in turnovers per game, averaging the lowest mark in the nation of 11.2 turnovers per game; the Wolves also rank 15th nationally in blocked shots with 4.6 per game, NSU ranks second in the NSIC with 5.00 blocks per game in league contests
• Northern will play their first ranked opponent of the season against Minnesota State; the Wolves have played two teams receiving votes this season, dropping a game at Minnesota Duluth (70-63) and defeating Augustana (62-60) at home

#12 MINNESOTA STATE STORYLINES

• Minnesota State enters this weekend with a record of 14-2 (10-2 NSIC)
• MSU is second overall in the league standings and first in the south division
• The Mavericks earned a pair of road wins in last weekend’s cross-division contests, defeating Minnesota Crookston (85-50) and Bemidji State (90-48)
• Joey Batt is averaging 17.1 points per game to lead a trio of Mavericks scoring in double figures this season, while Destinee Bursch and Natalie Bremer adds 15.1 and 13.9 points per game respectively
• Batt also leads MSU with 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game, while Emily Russo averages a team-best 4.4 rebounds and Carah Drees adds a team-high 0.6 blocks per game
• Batt leads the NSIC with 3.8 steals per game in league contests; in NCAA Division II she ranks third with 3.50 steals per game and fifth with 56 total steals this season
• Through 12 conference games, Minnesota State ranks first in the NSIC in scoring offense (86.8), scoring margin (+22.8), total rebounds (39.9), offensive rebounds (13.5), turnover margin (+12.75), assists (16.08), and steals (17.33)
• The Mavericks lead NCAA Division II with 17.3 steals per game and a turnover margin of +11.88; they rank within the top-5 nationally of three other statistical categories, third in scoring margin (+23.6), fourth in turnovers forced per game (26.25), and fifth in scoring offense (85.4)
• Emilee Thiesse is in her 11th season as the head women’s basketball coach at Minnesota State, she currently holds a career record of 184-108 with the Mavericks
