Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State offense was unable to come to life on Thursday afternoon as St. Cloud State completed the doubleheader sweep, winning by scores of 3-0 and 16-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- In a pitchers' duel, St. Cloud State scored two runs in the third and one in the sixth inning for the only three runs of the game
- Northern State fell victim to a perfect game in game one, as Luke Tupy struck out 15 of 21 batters for St. Cloud State
- Max Otto suffered the loss for Northern, pitching 6.0 innings and his third complete game of the season

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 2
- Spencer Sarringar recorded Northern State's first hit of the game in the top of the first inning with a double down the left field line
- After surrendering 11 runs in the first three innings, NSU began to chip away at the St. Cloud State lead with one run in the fourth, four in the fifth, and one in the sixth inning
- Sarringar scored Northern's first run of the day when he crossed home plate on a ground ball by Niko Pezonella in the third inning
- In the fourth inning Sarringar drove in another run with single through the right side of the infield, allowing Austin Portner to score
- An infield single to second base by Alex Gauer drove in the second run of the inning when Karson Hesser scored
- Later in the fifth inning Isaiah Chevalier notched a two RBI single to left field that allowed Reece Ragatz and Sarringar to score
- The Wolves were able to cut the lead to five runs in the sixth inning as Sarringar was able to reach base on a fielder's choice and score Jack Paulson in the process
- Northern State scored their six runs on seven hits and committed three errors defensively
- Andrew Pugliano suffered the loss on the mound after getting his fifth start of the season; Jack Miller threw two scoreless innings for the Wolves in relief, striking out five batters
