2024: Appeared 13 games and started in 12 games for the Wolves on the mound with a record of 5-5 on the season… Pitched 81.0 innings and recorded 80 strikeouts…  Accumulated an ERA of 5.78…  Tallied a 1.000 fielding percentage with six putouts and four assists… Broke the Northern State career records for innings pitched and strikeouts…

2023: Appeared in 13 games while making ten starts for the Wolves on the mound with a record of 1-8 on the season… Led Northern with 73.1 innings pitched, a 4.79 ERA, and a 1.15 WHIP, while also holding opponents to a .247 batting average… Pitched four complete games and recorded one save in a NSU win at McKendree… Tallied a team-best 76 strikeouts and notched a career-high of 12 strikeouts in a game against Minnesota Duluth… Threw seven or more strikeouts in six games… Earned his first win of the season in relief against Upper Iowa, pitching 2.2 scoreless innings while striking out two batters and allowing only two hits… He ranked second in the NSIC in innings pitched, fourth in fewest walks allowed (12), fifth in strikeouts, tied for eighth in strikeouts looking (20)…

Prep: Max Otto is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound quarterback out of Delano High School. He was a 2-year starter and team captain for the Tigers under the direction of head coach Merril Pavolich. Otto recorded 3,817 yards passing with 47 touchdowns in his final two seasons. He was a 2-time all-district and all-conference selection, as well as the District Quarterback of the Year. He is the son of John and Andrea Otto.
