Aberdeen, S.D. – Three Northern State swimmers will take part in the MSU Last Chance Invite on Saturday afternoon, as they make one final attempt to hit a NCAA B Standard time in their events.
Delaney Ryken will compete in the 50 yard freestyle,
Haley Osborne in the 100 and 50 yard freestyle, and
Maddie Gonzales in the 200 yard backstroke. The meet is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at the Highland Pool in Mankato, Minnesota.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
- In the 50 yard freestyle, Delaney Ryken and Haley Osborne both look to improve off career best times at last weekend's NSIC Championships; Ryken's best time sits at 24.77 while Osborne's is 24.89
- The 50 yard freestyle NCAA B Standard time is 23.94
- Osborne will also compete in the 100 yard freestyle, in which she earned another career best time at the NSIC Championships, swimming to a time of 52.33 in the preliminaries before earning a tenth place finish in the B Final
- Osborne currently holds the 12th fastest time in the 100 yard freestyle
- The 100 yard freestyle NCAA B Standard time is 52.11
- In the 200 yard backstroke, Maddie Gonzales earned all-conference honors with second place at the NSIC Championships, hitting the wall in a career best time of 2:03.57 in the A Final
- Gonzales currently holds the third fastest 200 yard backstroke time in the NSIC
- The 200 yard backstroke NCAA B Standard time is 2:02.88
