LEXINGTON, KY — The AVCA proudly announced its 2022 All-Region Teams and award winners for NCAA Division II earlier today. Northern State senior Sally Gaul was named to the All-Region Honorable Mention team.
 
Gaul led the Wolves in 2022 averaging 3.93 kills per set with 369 total. She hit .262 on the year, setting career highs for kills (26), attack percentage (.778), and digs (29). In addition, Gaul accumulated 245 digs, 71.0 blocks, 31 aces (team high), and 16 assists. This is the first AVCA All-Region honor of her career.
 
The All-America teams and Freshman of the Year will be revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 30, followed by the National Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year announcement on Thursday, Dec. 1.
