ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State's Izaak Hunsley (wrestling) and Lexi Roe (women's basketball) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.
 
Hunsley led Northern State with a 3-0 record in their wins over William Jewell, Maryville, and Drury. He defeated Conner Johnston (WJC) in a 9-2 decision and tallied a 10-5 victory over Luke Ebers (MU). Hunsley closed out his day with a 6-4 win over Trevor Christian (DU). He was the lone Wolf to record three wrestled victories.
 
Roe scored a season high 24 points in Northern State's victory over Wayne State. She added five rebounds and an assist, shooting 7-16 from the field, 2-5 from 3-point range, and was 8-10 from the free throw line in the game. Early in the first quarter she knocked down her 100th career 3-pointer, and is now tied for ninth in program history for career 3-point baskets made.
