Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2021 Women's Basketball All-Conference teams today with two Northern State Wolves honored. Rianna Fillipi was named the North Division Freshman of the Year and to the All-Freshman team, while Lexi Wadsworth grabbed NSIC All-Conference second team honors.
 
Fillipi was second on the team at NSU averaging 10.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. She shot 35.9% from the floor and 70.6% from the foul line. In addition, the freshman ranked in the top-25 of the NSIC in rebounding, assists, assist/turnover ratio, and steals. She tallied one double-double and eight double figure scoring games.
 
Wadsworth led the team in her junior campaign averaging 12.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She tallied 24 made 3-pointers, 16 assists, seven steals, and one block. The junior shot 34.9% from the floor, 39.3% from the 3-point line, and 80.0% from the foul line. She recorded eight games in double figure scoring and notched two double-doubles.
