Burnsville, Minn. – For the second week in a row, Northern State men's track and field student-athletes
Terry Towah and
Tanner Berg have been named the NSIC Athletes of the Week.
NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Terry Towah (Sprints, Fr., Arden Hills, Minn. / Mounds View HS)
- Won both the 55m and 200m dash in the Wolves dual win over Augustana
- Recorded times of 6.41 in the 55m and 22.34 in the 200m
- The converted times of 21.67 moved him up to 12th in Division II in the 200
- His 55m time, converted to 6.89, ties for 16th best in the nation
- Ranks first in the NSIC in both the 60m and 200m events
NSIC Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Tanner Berg (Throws, Sr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS)
- Won both the shot put and weight throw in the Wolves dual win over Augustana
- Missed the school record in the shot put by .12m, throwing 56' 2.5" (17.13m)
- Threw 69-10.75 (21.30m) in his weight throw victory, an NCAA Automatic qualifying throw
- Weight throw was the second best in the nation this season, only behind his own throw two weeks ago at the SDSU Jim Emmerich Invite
- Ranks tenth in the shot put with a national provisional mark and first in the weight throw at 71-6.25 (21.80m)
