Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State women's basketball team will be on the road this weekend for a pair of NSIC contests at Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State. Friday nights game between the Wolves and Golden Eagles will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in Crookston, and Saturday afternoon will be a 5:30 p.m. tip-off in Bemidji.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State enters this weekend with a record of 5-3 (2-1 NSIC)
• Last weekend, the Wolves split a pair of games as they dropped an 89-81 double overtime game at Minot State, and bounced back with 66-59 win at home against UMary
• Northern used a 15-0 run and held the Maruaders scoreless the final 7:59 of game time to erase an 11 point fourth quarter deficit in the comeback victory
• Kailee Oliverson averaged 26.5 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting 48.7 percent from the field this weekend, including setting a career high of 28 points against Minot State, in route to being named NSIC North Division Player of the Week
• In the win over UMary, Laurie Rogers was one block away from a triple double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 blocks
• Rogers nine blocks tied for the second most blocks in a single game, and was one shy of the record of ten by Miranda Ristau in 2017
• Northern is averaging 72.0 points, 41.1 rebounds, 11.0 assists, 11.1 turnovers, 7.9 steals, and 4.1 blocks per game this season

• Over the last week, the Golden Eagles have gone 0-3 losing to St. Cloud State 60-41 and Minnesota Duluth 78-46 last weekend, and they lost to Bemidji State on Tuesday night 86-80
• The team's 80 points on Tuesday night against Bemidji State was a season best, and senior Kylie Post set a new career high 27 points on 12-17 shooting from the field
• Crookston is averaging 52.9 points, 36.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 15.2 turnovers, 5.3 steals, and 2.8 blocks per game
• As a team they are shooting 35.1 percent from the field, 23.5 percent from 3-point range, and 68.9 percent from the free throw line

• Bemidji State enters the weekend with a record of 3-4 (1-2 NSIC)
• The Beavers went 1-2 this past week, losing 61-59 to Minnesota Duluth, losing 69-51 to St. Cloud State, and won 86-80 over Minnesota Crookston on Tuesday
• Bemidji hit a season best 12 3-pointers in Tuesday's victory over Minnesota Crookston, with five of those three's coming from Maddie Schires
• BSU is averaging 69.1 points, 38.1 rebounds, 15.4 assists, 15.6 turnovers, 5.7 steals, and 2.9 blocks per game
