Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State women's basketball team is set to travel to MSU Moorhead to open NSIC play on Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. from Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead, Minnesota.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State enters the week with a record of 2-1 on the season, and is coming off a 76-67 win at South Dakota Mines

• MSU Moorhead enters the week with a record of 0-2 on the season, and is coming off losses to Rogers State and #6 Central Missouri in the Central Region Challenge
• Last season MSUM went 7-6 (6-4 NSIC North), recording a fourth place finish in the NSIC North Division and made an NSIC Tournament quarterfinal appearance
• The Dragons are picked to finish eighth overall and fourth in the north division of the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll
• MSU Moorhead returns three starters, including Peyton Boom who was an All-NSIC North first-team selection last season after averaging 14.0 points and 6.1 rebounds per game
