Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2021 All-Conference teams on Wednesday morning. Northern State saw three players earn first team honors in the NSIC North Division, and five players were selected to the second team.

Vance Barnes, and
Payton Eue were named First Team All-Conference.
Emmit Bohle,
Dewaylon Ingram,
Jake Oliphant,
Brennan Kutterer, and
Chance Olson were selected as Second Team All-Conference members.
Robinson earned First Team All-NSIC North Division honors at the linebacker position for Northern State. He was fifth on the team with 71.0 total tackles (35 solo, 36 assisted) on the season. His team high 16 tackles for loss ranked as the fifth most in the NSIC. He also recorded 2.5 sacks, four pass break-ups, and three quarterback hurries. Robinson set a season high of ten tackles at MSU Moorhead on October 30
th and tallied two or more tackles for loss on four different occasions throughout the season.
Barnes earned First Team All-NSIC North Division honors as a return specialist for the Wolves. He returned 35 kickoffs for a total of 848 yards on the season, while averaging 24.23 yards per return. He finished the season leading the conference in total kickoff return yards and was third in average yards per return. Throughout the season he returned ten kicks for 30 or more yards and had a season best 74 yard kickoff return at Concordia-St. Paul on October 23
rd. Barnes rushed for over 100 yards four times on the season, and season high 115 kickoff return yards in the home finale against Bemidji State on November 6
th.
Eue was the third player to receive First Team All-NSIC North Division honors and was selected as the kicker. He was 49-52 on PAT attempts and was 14-21 on field goal attempts this season, with a career long 50 yard field goal at Minnesota State. He led the team and was fourth in the conference with 91 points scored. His 14 made field goals led the NSIC and tied the school single season record for field goals made in a season, and the 50 yard field goal was the second longest made in the conference this year. He also recorded 79 kickoffs for 4,601 kickoff yards and 11 touchbacks. Eue earned back to back NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week awards to begin the season.
Bohle and Oliphant were selected as offensive lineman for the Second Team All-NSIC North Division offense. Both players started all 11 games this season for the Wolves. They have played a pivotal role on the offensive line, paving the way for the offense that averaged the fourth most yards per game in the conference with 457.9 yards per game and had the second highest offensive efficiency at 153.9.
Ingram was chosen as a wide receiver for the Second Team All-NSIC North Division offense. He hauled in 68 receptions for 1,161 yards and 14 touchdowns, while averaging of 17.07 yards per reception. His 14 touchdown receptions rank as the fourth most this season by a receiver and broke the school single season record that previously stood at 11 receiving touchdowns. His longest reception of the season was a 72 yard catch and score in a game at Winona State. In five single games this season, he hit the 100 yard receiving mark and tallied two touchdown receptions in a game, he had a season best 200 yards receiving at Minnesota Duluth.
Kutterer was selected as a linebacker on the Second Team All-NSIC North Division defense. He led the Northern State defense with 94.0 tackles on the season, ranking as the second most in the NSIC. He was second on the team with 12.0 tackles for loss and added 1.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 pass break-ups, one quarterback hurry, and a forced fumble. On November 1
st he was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week following a season high 16 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss at MSU Moorhead.
Olson is last of the eight Wolves picked for all-conference teams; he was chosen as the defensive back on the Second Team All-NSIC North Division defense. He led the NSIC and was second in all of NCAA Division II with seven interceptions on the season, returning them for a total of 181 yards and a touchdown. His top play of the season came when he stopped a Bemidji State red zone drive by picking off the pass at the goal line and proceeded to return it 100 yards for a pick six. He ranks second on the team with 80.0 total tackles and adds 3.5 tackles for loss, six pass break-ups, and two fumble recoveries.
