Jamestown, N.D. – The Northern State men's and women's track and field teams both took down the University of Jamestown in dual action. The teams combined for 24 event victories over the course of the day. In addition to the victories, two school records were broken and NCAA provisional marks were hit.

WOMEN'S TOP RESULTS
- Northern State swept the women's events versus the Jimmies
- The women took the top three spots in the 55m dash led by Shona Juliana with a time of 7.43; she was followed by Makenna Larson and Isabel Kinzer crossing the line at 7.53 and 7.62 respectively
- Larson went on to win the 200m with a time of 27.93, earning five team points
- NSU again took the top spot in the 400m, with a 1:03.01 race time by Emma Rezac; Tori Collesso and Kristin O'Bel took second and third with times of 1:08.07 and 1:08.71
- Jennifer Clark and Mary Franssen took the top two spots in the mile, crossing the finish line at 5:31.48 and 5:48.19
- Megan Mooberry and Jordyn Sterud led the field in the 3000m run with times of 10:56.42 and 11:04.39
- The 55m hurdles rounded out the individual running events with Dakota Hutzler and Kinzer finishing one-two with times of 8.55 and 8.85
- The 4x400m relay team of Kinzer, Hutzler, Collesso, and Rezac won the race with a time of 4:19.75
- Tava Berg kicked off the field events, clearing 1.68m in the high jump, breaking the Northern State school record and notching a national provisional mark
- Jordyn Huneke opened the year strong in the pole vault, clearing 3.95m in an event win after vaulting out at the automatic qualifying standard of 4.06m
- Hutzler tallied a school record performance of her own, winning the long jump with a mark of 5.65m; all three of her competition jumps were over the previous school record
- Juliana followed up her race victory in the 55m dash, winning the triple jump with a mark of 11.35m and taking second in the long jump with a 5.40m mark
- Jordan Menken notched back-to-back victories in the shot put and weight throw, throwing 13.10m and 14.64m respectively
MEN'S TOP RESULTS
- Dakota Larson made his track and field debut, winning the 55m dash with a time of 6.63
- Riley Gauer followed Larson in the 55m taking third with a time of 6.87 seconds and followed with a 25.35 second victory in the 200m
- Terry Towah and Tafara Hondonga went one-two in the 400m with times of 52.80 and 53.36 respectively
- In the distance race, Jackson Harrison and Jorge Garcia took the top two spots with times of 8:24.66 and 8:31.47
- Brady Janssen won the 55m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.68
- The 4x400m relay team of Hondonga, Maxwell Geditz, Caleb Schlekeway, and Towah took top honors with a time of 3:40.45
- Geditz followed his running performance in the relay with a 2.00m high jump victory and a second place finish in the pole vault clearing 3.35m; his 2.00m high jump just missed the provisional qualifying standard
- Winning the pole vault for the Wolves was senior Zachary Burns with a 4.10m vault
- Darrian Hood tallied back-to-back event wins in the long jump (6.35m) and triple jump (12.94m)
- Tanner Berg and Nick Olson swept the throwing events for the Wolves, taking first and second in both the shot put and weight throw
- Berg had winning throws of 16.12m in the shot and 20.34m (NCAA provisional mark) in the weight, while Olson tallied marks of 12.86m in the shot and 14.70m in the weight
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Berg broke the previous high jump record of 1.66m set by Tara Like in 1996
- Hutzler's new indoor long jump record shattered the previous mark of 5.52m set by Heidi Nelson (1993) and Katie Anderson (2005)
