Wolves Women's Basketball Travels to Concordia-St. Paul for First Round of the NSIC Tournament

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball set to tip-off against Concordia-St. Paul at 6 p.m. on Wednesday from St. Paul, Minnesota in the opening round of the NSIC tournament.
 
ABOUT THE WOLVES
  • Northern enters the post-season 13-15 overall, 9-13 in conference and 4-8 on the road
  • The Wolves averaged 63.5 points per game in the regular season, 1.8 points per game less than their opponents
  • NSU is shooting 42.1% from the floor, 32.0% from 3-point and 71.4% at the charity stripe
  • Sara Tvedt and Brianna Kusler led the Wolves starters shooting 52.3% and 42.0% from the floor respectively
  • The Wolves are averaging 3.4 more rebounds per game than opponents and are averaging 12.9 assists per game
  • Northern is forcing opponents to turn the ball over 13.3 times per game while scoring an average of 12.8 points off those turnovers
