Wolves Travel for Match-ups With the Bulldogs and Huskies This Weekend

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball takes their final road trip of the 2019-20 regular season. The Wolves travel to Duluth taking on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and head to St. Cloud to face the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 
ABOUT THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES
  • Northern State enters the weekend tenth overall in the NSIC with a 12-12 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play
  • The Wolves are averaging 63.8 points per game in conference play this season
  • NSU is being out-scored by their opponents by 1.5 points per game in conference play this season
  • Northern is shooting 40.3% from the floor led this season led by Sara Tvedt shooting 56.8%
  • Brianna Kusler leads the team in 3-point attempts in NSIC action with 83 attempts as four games remain in the regular season
  • Lexi Wadsworth leads the team shooting 40.0% from beyond the arc

  • The Huskies are second in the North Divisional standings with a 7-3 mark behind Minnesota Duluth
  • St. Cloud State is shooting the ball 43.8% from the floor led by Katrina Theis who is shooting 51.0% from the floor in NSIC play this season
  • In conference play, SCSU is averaging 70.2 points per game and allowing opponents to score an average of 62.1 points per game

  • The Wolves weren't unable to come back against the Huskies just a few weeks ago at home where they dropped the game 68-60
  • Sara Tvedt led the team with 12 points and Lexi Wadsworth netted ten
  • Brianna Kusler grabbed nine rebounds in the game to lead the team
  • Northern State is 12-8 all-time against St. Cloud and 0-2 under the direction of coach Krueger
