Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball takes their final road trip of the 2019-20 regular season. The Wolves travel to Duluth taking on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and head to St. Cloud to face the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 
ABOUT THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES

• Northern State enters the weekend tenth overall in the NSIC with a 12-12 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play
• The Wolves are averaging 63.8 points per game in conference play this season
• NSU is being out-scored by their opponents by 1.5 points per game in conference play this season
• Northern is shooting 40.3% from the floor led this season led by Sara Tvedt shooting 56.8%
• Brianna Kusler leads the team in 3-point attempts in NSIC action with 83 attempts as four games remain in the regular season
• Lexi Wadsworth leads the team shooting 40.0% from beyond the arc

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS

• UMD enters the Friday match-up first in the NSIC overall and North Division standings
• The Bulldogs are 19-5 overall, 16-2 in conference play, 11-0 at home and are riding a 5-game win streak  
• Last weekend Minnesota Duluth battled to a win against Augustana (64-56) and ran past Wayne State (77-54)
• UMD is eighth in league play for scoring offense averaging 69.1 points per game and second in scoring margin out-scoring opponents by 9.8 points per game in league action
• Brooke Olson leads the Bulldogs in field goal percentage with 51.2% from the floor, as a team, UMD is shooting 44.5% for the second best percentage in the NSIC
• Minnesota Duluth is averaging 34.2 rebounds per game in league action placing
• The Bulldogs are being out-rebounded by 2.4 by their opponents
• UMD is averaging 11.3 turnovers per game and forcing opponents to turn the ball over an average of 14.8 times per game
• The Bulldogs have compiled a 1.40 assist/turnover ratio through 18 NSIC games being led by Ann Simonet with a 1.70 assist/turnover ratio
• UMD is led by Mandy Pearson in her fifth season at the helm

 
LAST MEETING

• The Wolves took on the Bulldogs at home a few weeks ago where they dropped the contest 56-39
• Kusler led the team with 11 points and nine rebounds in the game
• The bench chipped in with ten points and the Wolves were able to grab 8-second chance points

ABOUT THE HUSKIES

• St. Cloud State enters the weekend 17-5 overall, 14-4 in league play, 7-3 at home and third overall in the conference
• The Huskies are second in the North Divisional standings with a 7-3 mark behind Minnesota Duluth
• St. Cloud State is shooting the ball 43.8% from the floor led by Katrina Theis who is shooting 51.0% from the floor in NSIC play this season
• In conference play, SCSU is averaging 70.2 points per game and allowing opponents to score an average of 62.1 points per game
• The Huskies are shooting 36.9% beyond the arc for the second-best 3-point shooting percentage in conference play 
• SCSU also ranks second in rebounding margin grabbing an average of 6.3 more rebounds per game than opponents

• Brianna Kusler grabbed nine rebounds in the game to lead the team
