HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern jumped on Truman State earlier taking the first set with a score of 25-15 and hitting .533 as a team with 17 kills
- Despite a bit closer second and third sets, the Wolves came away with the sweep and hit .355 as a unit
- NSU combined for 51 kills, 44 assists, 39 digs, 6.0 blocks, and two service aces in the win
- Two Wolves recorded double figure kills, while four of the starting hitters tallied an attack percentage above .300 in the match

Game 2 – Missouri Western State
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves jumped out to an early lead through the first two sets, hitting an impressive .484 in the first and .480 in the second with 17 and 16 kills respectively
- The NSU offense continued to roll in the third with 17 kills and a .400 attack percentage, however Missouri Western took advantage of the Northern State errors and came away with the set victory
- Northern battled in the fourth, as both teams struggled offensively combing for just 23 kills, however NSU was able to edge out MWSU by three points for the match win
- The Wolves recorded a match high 60 kills, 53 assists, 39 digs, nine blocks, and six aces
- In total they hit at a .349 clip, and held the Griffons under .200 in three of the four sets
