Aberdeen, S.D. – In their final two games of the regular season, the Northern State University softball team fell to Concordia-St. Paul. With the two loss, the Wolves finish the season 12
th in the NSIC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Bears held a steady lead throughout the game notching two runs in the first and one in the second
- Northern plated their first and only run of the game in the top of the seventh; Shayla Steinley was running for Jamie Fisher who single through the right side and came around to score on an RBI fielder's choice by Madison Rutter
- The Wolves tallied one run on eight hits with one error defensively
- Fisher suffered the loss giving up three earned runs in the first two innings, while Andrea Cherney entered in relief to throw four scoreless frames

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern scored in their first at-bats of the game, as Rachel Reinke who reached on an infield single scored on Kaitlyn King's groundout to second base
- Concordia-St. Paul grabbed the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the frame and added two more runs apiece in the second and fifth innings
- The Wolves tallied one run on seven hits with one error defensively
- Makenzie Merritt suffered the loss throwing six complete innings and giving up four earned runs on nine hits
