Mankato, Minn. – The Northern State University men's and women's track and field teams concluded the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships with 17 personal bests, 14 top-8 finishes, four season bests, three all-conference performers, and one school record.

ALL-CONFERENCE WOLVES
- TJ Hochstetler took second in the heptathlon with 5,111 total points. He was just 30 points shy of the Northern State school record, and tallied a national provisional mark.
- Tanner Berg took second as well in the shot put with a personal best and provisional mark of 16.14m.
WOLVES IN THE TOP-8
- Shanice Burrell took eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.27.
- Jacob Lackas finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a personal best time of 8.28.
- Jake Olson took seventh behind Berg in the shot put, throwing 14.98m.
- Itoitz Rodriguez just missed all-conference accolades, taking fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 49.03.
- Donovan Miller ran to a personal best in the 800m run, finishing in fifth with a time of 1:59.27.
- Sonia Alaman took fourth in the high jump with a 1.63m mark, followed by Kailee Oliverson in sixth, jumping 1.60m.
- Trey Tiefenthaler took seventh in the triple jump, with a 13.98m mark.
- The women's 4x400m relay team of Isabel Kinzer, Madison Barnes, Emma Rezac, and Hanneke Oosterwegel took third with a school record time of 3:54.52.
- The men's 4x400m relay team of Kelson Brewer, Isaiha Fletcher, Devin Sheridan, and Itoitz Rodriguez finished in fifth with a season best time of 3:22.94.
MULTI EVENTS
- TJ Hochstetler and Bryce Malsam finished the men's heptathlon in second and 13th overall with 5,111 and 4,203 points respectively
- Hochstetler recorded marks of 7.35 in the 60m dash (762 pts), 10.91m in the shot put (540 pts), 6.59m in the long jump (718 pts), 1.92m in the high jump (731 pts), 8.60 in the 60m hurdles (836 pts), 4.50m in the pole vault (760 pts), and 2:50.11 in the 1000m run (765 pts).
- Malsam tallied marks of 7.24 in the 60m dash (799 pts), 10.76m in the shot put (531 pts), 6.41m in the long jump (677 pts), 1.92m in the high jump (731 pts), 8.60 in the 60m hurdles (836 pts), and 3:03.68 in the 1000m run (629 pts).
- Dakota Hutzler took 15th in the pentathlon with 2,247 points; she record marks of 10.63 in the 60m hurdles (599 pts), 4.88m in the long jump (527 pts), 8.86m in the shot put (455 pts), and 1.54m in the high jump (666 pts).
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Six Wolves recorded personal bests: TJ Hochstetler (60m hurdles, pole vault, 1000m run), Dakota Hutzler (high jump, shot put), Jacob Lackas (60m hurdles), Tanner Berg (shot put), Donovan Miller (800m run), and Tava Berg (high jump)
- Hochstetler won the pole vault in the heptathlon, defeating his next closest opponent by .20m.
- The previous women's 4x400m relay record was set back in 2013 with a time of 3:56.47 by Nicolia Edwards, Hannah Treinen, MaKayla Perryman, and Jill Schaefer.
- Tanner Berg finished as the eighth top performer on the men's side of competition, earning 13 team points.
