Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball welcomes the Beavers of Bemidji State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles at 4 p.m. on Saturday for their first two game NSIC weekend from Wachs Arena.
ABOUT THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES
• Northern State enters the first full weekend of NSIC action following two wins in Colorado versus Metro State (77-64) and Colorado Christian (66-61)
• NSU opened NSIC play with a 73-65 loss to MSU Moorhead prior to the Thanksgiving weekend and is currently 4-3 overall and 0-1 in the league
• The Wolves are shooting 45.3% from the field, 34.5% from the 3-point line, and 71.9% from the foul line this season
• They are averaging 64.3 points, 38.4 rebounds, 12.7 assists, 21.7 turnovers, 6.1 steals, and 2.1 blocks per game on the year; out-rebounding their opponents by 8.3 boards per game

• Kailee Oliverson and Wadsworth lead the team shooting 62.5% from 58.9% from the floor, with Wadsworth also shooting a team best 47.1% from beyond the arc
ABOUT THE Beavers
• Bemidji State enters the weekend with a 3-1 record overall, facing off in their first league games of the 2019-20 season
• The Beavers are shooting 40.8% from the floor, 36.3% from beyond the arc, and 67.3% from the free throw line thus far

• Alayna Johnson led three Wolves in double figures in the home victory, notching 12 points, while Kusler tallied a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds

• Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend with a 1-3 record overall
