Northern State Women's Basketball Head North to take on Minot and UMary

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball heads to North Dakota this weekend in NSIC play as they take on the Beavers of Minot State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in the Minot Dome. Then with a 3:30 p.m. tip-off on Saturday, the Wolves will battle the University of Mary.
 
ABOUT THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES
  • Northern State is coming off their first full weekend of conference play 2-0 after defeating Bemidji (68-56) and Minnesota Crookston (74-64)
  • The Wolves shot 44.1% from the floor last weekend total
  • NSU was not missing many shots from beyond the arc last weekend either as they had two of their best three-point shooting percentages, 50.0% against Bemidji and 47.1% against Minnesota Crookston
  • As a team, Northern State grabbed a total of 69 rebounds last weekend to average 37.6 rebounds per game
  • NSU is averaging 65.8 points per game with a scoring margin of +2.0
  • Northern State continued to lower their turnovers one game at a time, only committing ten turnovers against UMC
