Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University football team will hit the road tomorrow for their third North Division contest of the season at MSU Moorhead. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m. between the Wolves and the Dragons.
The Wolves bounced back in week two with a 26-point victory over Minot State in the MidcoSN Game of the Week. Northern enters their third NSIC North match-up of the season averaging 29.5 points and 445.0 yards of total offensive per game. NSU has been rather efficient suffering just four penalties on the year, while their opponents have quadrupled that with 16.
Chaka Kelly leads the team with 186 yards rushing, after a 100-plus yard game last weekend. He has two touchdowns thus far, and is averaging 4.8 yards per carry.
Hunter Trautman has thrown for 490 total yards with a 56.2 completion percentage and five touchdowns. Redshirt freshman
Jacob Streit leads the receivers with 165 total yards, and two touchdowns, averaging 16.5 yards per reception.
Noah MacPherson leads the Wolves defense with 22 total tackles on the year, including a sack for a total loss of nine yards.

Preston Droessler are the final members of the defensive in double figures, with 14 and ten tackles respectively.
Brayden McNeary grabbed the team's first interception of the season last week against the Beavers, while
Etienne Ezeff leads the team with two pass break-ups.
Jacob Wiedrich has shown his strengths this season, averaging 43.2 yards per punt with a 66-yard long. The senior has notched two punts over 50 yards, as well as three inside the 20 and one touchback.
