2018: Started all 11 games for the Wolves… Led the team with 84 total tackles, including 43 solo stops… Notched a team high 14.5 tackles for a total loss of 97 yards with 9.0 sacks… Added three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, one interception, and one forced fumble… Recorded a season high 14 tackles versus Bemidji State… Named to the NSIC All-Conference first team…

2017: : Appeared in all 11 games, started in ten for the Wolves… Leading tackler for the defense with 77 tackles, 42 solo and 35 assisted… Recorded five tackles for loss… Recorded one and half sacks on the year… Forced two fumbles and had three fumble recoveries… Recorded one interception for 32 yards… Tallied two touchdowns for the year… Was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week twice, vs Minot state and vs St. Cloud State… Named NSIC All-Conference second team…

2016: Appeared in all 11 games for the Wolves… Sixth on the team with 42 tackles, including 22 solo and 20 assisted… Added 4.0 tackles for a loss of 15 yards and 1.5 sacks… Tallied one forced fumble…

2015: Appeared in all 11 games for the Wolves… Recorded 19 tackles, nine unassisted and ten assisted… Returned a block kick for 31 yards and a touchdown versus Bemidji State… 

2014: Redshirt season

Pre NSU: MacPherson was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection for the Panthers. He tallied 96 total tackles in both his junior and senior seasons for Head Coach Aaron Morris. MacPherson was named the Heart O'Lakes Conference MVP this past season as well as his team's Defensive MVP. MacPherson also participated in track and hockey at Park Rapids High School and was an all-conference performer in hockey. MacPherson is also the student body Vice President at Park Rapids.
