2017: Appeared in all 11 games, starting in 10 for the Wolves… Second on the team with 69 tackles, 37 solo and 32 assisted… Tallied three sacks on the season… Tallied three fumble recoveries and forced one fumble… Blocked one kick vs Upper Iowa… Tallied one punt return for 10 yards…

2016: Appeared in 11 games, making two starters on the year… Notched 38 tackles, including 19 solo and assisted, ranking eighth on the team… Tallied 2.5 tackles for a total loss of nine yards and one sack… Added one interception with a 15 yard return and one fumble recovery… Recorded 30 yards rushing…

2014: Redshirt season

Before NSU: Coyle was a 2012 First Team All-State selection for the Huskies and was Honorable Mention All-State following the 2011 season. This past season Coyle was a Pre-Season First Team All-State selection. Coyle was also a three-time All-Conference and All-County selection for Head Coach Steve Neptune. Coyle helped lead West Holt to the state playoffs all four years of his high school career. Coyle was also a decorated wrestler and track athlete at West Holt. Coyle was the 2013 State Wrestling Champion and is a three-time state track qualifier.
