ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State's Blake Perryman (wrestling) and Jamie Fisher (softball) have been named as the Qdoba Athletes of the Week for their efforts in their respective sports last week.

Blake Perryman finished his season with a 25-4 record and a third place finish from the NCAA National Championships at 165 pounds. During the championships, Perryman wrestled to a 12-8 decision victory over Ruhnke of Millersville, falling to Romanzek of Ashland in a 6-1 decision. Perryman then battled in a 6-3 decision win over Ross of Gannon to advance. On the second day, he opened with an 11-5 decision over Austin of Pitt-Johnstown, and a 4-2 comeback win in the consolation semifinals with a 4-2 victory over Shephard of UNC Pembroke. The senior earned NSIC All-Conference first team honors going undefeated in the league.

Jamie Fisher notched three shutout wins on the mound for the Wolves, with a 0.36 ERA. Fisher threw a combined 25.0 innings throughout four games with a 3-1 record. She also tallied 14 strikeouts and a .119 opponent batting average. On the offensive end, Fisher hit .417 with five hits and one run scored. In the game against Concordia NY, Fisher went 3-for-4 at the plate with one run scored and one stolen base.
